Busy design/build shop in Metrowest, Boston looking for a full time payroll OR subcontractor drafts-person with experience in Chief Architect® to provide planning services for residential remodeling projects. You will work directly with our lead design/build account managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visit job sites, measure and note architectural features accurately and completely
Create floorplans with elevations
Execute 3D modeling drawings
Design electrical/lighting layouts
Create drawings of cross sections, foundation & framing plans
Provide printing services
Communicate clearly and often with design/build account manager
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Residential Drafting experience (3 years min)
Full training and understanding of Chief Architect Software
Knowledge of residential construction including truss, joists, rafters, and framing
