This is an old question that has been posed before but with X6 I thought it would be different. When polyline solids, 3D molding lines and architectural blocks are drawn on floor 2 they show up in renderings and elevations on floor 2 but they are on floor 1 in plan view. In plan view I can copy them to floor 2 holding position and delete them from floor 1 and all is correct. I must be missing something basic as this is a lot of extra work. I have polyline solids, molding lines and arch blocks on the first floor also and when selected the only way to tell which floor it is on is the Z position and the first floor plan is cluttered with extraneous items. Is there a way to turn off this feature for a specific wall connection? I have a case where I am putting a very custom railing next to the intersection of an invisible wall and framed wall. It is where I want it to be but Chief helpfully keeps pointing out that it is not connected. As said above the curser symbol is annoying. Maybe a better way would be to designate a wall as not connected regardless of position.

Nate, you were correct. It was the single layer of the log wall. I split it into 2 layers - one 3/4" for the siding and the other 2.75" for the log and it worked. Since I'm trying to create an as built hanging the rim joist inside was not an option and balloon thru also messed it up. But now my problem is that the house grew by 1.5 inches. The logs really do sit above the rim joist - there is a wood trim piece (water table) that the logs sit on which extends out to cover the edge of the siding.

I am doing an as built. The first floor walls are solid cedar sitting on a stick built platform. The walk-out basement siding should cover the platform rim joist. I must be missing something simple as this usually happens without any effort. What is unusual is the solid cedar wall sits aligned with the outside edged of the rim joist (there is a trim piece -water table - not shown which covers the top of the siding).
