I am trying to finish out this plan by adding a porch to the two areas in the back of the home. The back porch and center of the home have 16' ceiling height while the two sides of the home have 10' ceiling heights. When I try to draw the porches on the two sides I start by drawing the railing which I have set up the way I want it. I draw the outside railing following the exterior outside wall then draw the back railing for the porch and when I drag it across to the connect with the porch that has the 16' Ceiling it creates this wall between the two roof planes which I cant seem to get rid of unless I drag the roof plain for the porch towards the upper 16' porch beam but when I do that it cuts off the upper beam for the 16' tall porch. I have worked with the program for a few years now but am not super technical with it. (which is probably why I cant figure this out) If someone could help walk me through how to accomplish this It would be greatly appreciated. I have found these forums to be very helpful most of the time and sometimes some of the responses have been above my pay grade or skill level. I have been hesitant to reach out but figured I would give it a shot. Please refer to my screenshots. The plan file is too large for me to upload here.
