  1. Thanx in advance for any help! It is always appreciated!
  2. I have created a Washer/Dryer Pedestal in SketchUp and imported it into Chief. Everything worked fine, except it imported some crazy material items. Plywood Panel has an imported material called unnamed_model_SKP_Plywood_Panel I would like this to come in as Cabinet Base (the object name in SketchUp) and the material is not important as I could then change it in Chief. The new name would make it easier ti visualize and adjust the model in Chief. color_204_68_0 should be Top Rail.... Maybe I'm asking too much and maybe it cannot be done. The imported item works great (imported as Fixture (interior) ehn place against walls and such, turned correctly to have the front facing out. Tried importing as a cabinet, but chief added a countertop, backsplash etc....not needed for this object. I created a simple plan to show what I mean. In the Laundry room are my pedestal alone and one as a block with a washer. If you look at the Materials for the pedestal, there are materials imported from SketchUp that I would like named for the parts, as they are in most items. I can map them to materials in CA, but it would be nice if they were labeled as Back or Top Rail...etc Pedestal Test Plan.plan
  3. AWESOME! Thanx....I was hoping for some direction to lead me to the answers...instead I get an adjusted plan that shows what I'm after...Now all I have to do is deconstruct the drawing to learn how it's done! Kudos to ShaneK and solver for the help...and thanx to all others.
  4. Hope this shows...not eally 3 steps...just 2 and that front ledge
  5. Here's what I have so far...WoodShop-temp.plan
  6. I broke the front wall where I wanted the "step" to occur. However, I can't figure out how to change the wall heights of each section. The right section (looking at the front) I want at 24" (the height for the parapet), the middle section should "step up" 6 inches, and the final section to "step up" another 6-inches. I followed the "arched" instructions and can make the arch...but if I don't use that and use the step design I fumble around without progress.
  7. Thanx...I thought that was the answer...I'll try today and see how it works.
  8. AWESOME!....so far, just what I needed. The front wall will be stepped...each step a different height from the next....is there info on how to do that?
  9. OK...got me...I'm definitely a newbie...how do I go about this and is there a size limit for the photo?
  10. I am trying to design a wood shop...basically a square building. I need it to match the house structure which is southwest styled with stucco walls and a flat roof which is below the level of the walls...it has drain spouts around the top...anyone have any ideas how I do this? The front wall also has a slight arch in the center so it's not a rectangular wall. This roof is driving me nuts! NightMyst
