  1. I have an issue I hope someone could help me with. I tried to put a niche into an 18" wall with 1/2" drywall both sides under a set of stairs. I have attached a photo. As you can see, it worked on one side but not the other. The wall under the stairs is continuous and I have tried a few work arounds; copy and pasting the original niche and trying to build a new one, neither option is working. If anyone has a suggestion I would really the feedback. Cheers, Kent
  2. Problem solved... my mullion depth settings were out. Thanks everyone.
  3. I added a couple of photos with my original post showing what existed and what was preferred (older drawing). The windows are mulled so I'm not sure if the stiles are the issue,. I did try playing around with the framing but I can't find the combination to rectify the problem.
  4. Tried, but end up with the same results. As a side note I've tried reworking the framing as well but that didn't help... and I've tried cutting the wall and inserting a thinner wall but that throws off the interior... sigh.
  5. Good day, I'm modelling a 16th century manor house with very thick walls and I'm having issues placing mulled windows. The mullions between the windows are as thick as the existing walls and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make them thinner. In an older version (below as preferred), the preferred windows were drawn using basic shapes, hence thinner mullions. Now that I'm redoing the plans the existing windows are way too thick (below as existing). Any assistance would help as the frustration level is mounting. Cheers and thanks.
  6. Gentlemen, Thank you both for your timely and helpful advice. Both solutions worked and I now have a bit more flexibility to play with. Much appreciated. Cheers, Kent.
  7. Good day all, I'm working on an industrial/commercial project for school and am using slab doors, however, I need to add a door with a window. If anyone knows how to achieve this it would be greatly appreciated.
