Best & most powerful laptop...

I'm looking to upgrade and switch to a laptop because I'm going to be traveling and I want to get as close to a desktop performance as I can. There is no budget. Chief Architect has made me enough money over the last 22 years that my wife actually says that she doesn't care what I spend. Just get the best. I don't often hear that.  BTW, I started with version 3, before the X's. It's been quite the journey growing with Chief. 

I'm looking for input... MSI, Alienware, Asus... When I look at Amazon, there doesn't seem top be many upgrade options. Is it best to go directly to the source?

I really appreciate your input.
