Hi Jon
Thanks for the post. I understand the way you've done yours. I guess I will have to fill the gaps like you have done yours.
Thanks again,

Hi Michael
Thank you for your post. I have set this to 700mm, however is there a way I can display concrete (slab) underneath opposed to it just floating?
As I will adjust the terrain slope, and the garage for example wont have a deck around the edge, so I will need to connect that to the ground so it's not in mid air.
I appreciate your help.

Rod

Hi guys
I'm having some trouble with raising my structure above the terrain, as my house design will be raised up and have a deck around the house.
I have attached an example of a house which I will be designing, and need to achieve the effect shown in the image.
I have looked on knowledge base and training videos, but I'm not sure of the most efficient way to achieve this?

Rod

Thanks Draw
That's good info to know also.
Much appreciated.

Hi guys
Again, sorry for the the eternity it's taken for me to get back on here, been very busy.
Someone did suggest something about the birdsmouth cut, so I altered this back to 0 when building a new roof of one of my new designs, and it seem to correct the problem I was having :-) Dollhouse view now displays how it use to.
Thanks again for all the help.
Side note: I have attached some screenshots for reference etc.

Hi Mark
Thanks for your feedback. Showing my in experience of the program here, but would you have a link/tag to a video that demonstrates this, or knowledge base?

Hi guys
Just wondering if there is an easy way to edit the shape of full height cabinet?
I just need to fill in the corner space pictured in screenshot, ideally just selecting points and dragging them where I want manually.
Have been looking through knowledge base, but nothing stood out :-/
Appreciate any help I can get.
Cheers,

Hi guys
Sorry for the lack if response. My client whom I am doing the designs for requested another angle of the Dollhouse view, so purely by fluke I have been able to avoid it for now (and have been avoiding it).
I tried a couple things, but will give the roof elevations a go, as it's obviously a roof setting I've messed up in my default settings a while back :-/
Greatly appreciate your feedback, and will present my findings shortly.

Thanks Guys
I checked out the layer displays (if I even have the correct setting etc), and turned it off, but now luck.
I have attached the plan if you wanted to take a look?

Hi guys
I've been designing a few houses, with generally the same settings, however when I view this particular one in Doll House view, I noticed the exterior wall is displaying wood at the top of the wall.
As you can see the house in the left image, is what I would normally get, however the house on the right is the issue I'm having.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah thanks for the tip Graham. I'm beginning to see some better results.

Hi guys
Thanks for all the help! Chopsaw, those videos were great! And I have looked into the other suggestions also, big help.
I have a long way to go still, but have made some adjustments with lighting and also the settings etc. Love the sunlight coming into the room, gives such a natural look :-)
Improved image attached FYI, thanks again guys.

Hi all
Thanks for all the support guys. Chopsaw, I have started watching those vids, and yes I will get into the video tutorials a lot more, very very helpful.
I have started to play with lighting and already seeing some great results while experimenting, but I will knuckle-down and play with the other suggested settings when I get a chance on the weekend :-)
I look forward to sharing my results once I reach the "pot of gold" at the end of the rainbow

Hi guys, and thank you.
Yes it seems like I have a long way to go to perfect an interior Ray Trace
Chopsaw, I have attached a screenshot which shows adjusting "Tone Mapping", is this what you mean when you say "Photon Mapping", or is this a completely different thing?
I am currently reading through a previous post (still at work) that a few members were discussing with the same problem, I have started to play with lighting, and can see I've only touched the tip of the ice berg.

Thanks Michael
OK, I now see the option is in fact there when exporting a standard image, however when I am trying to do it from an image I have just Ray Traced, it's completely different.
I should of mentioned I am trying it for a Ray Traced image. Is this option somewhere else for Ray Traced images?

Hi guys
Is it possible to export a tiff (after rendering with Ray Trace) from Premier with a Transparent background?
When exporting Tifs in Home Designer Professional, I could just select an option for transparent background, but I can't see the same option for Premier anywhere.
My images are just exporting with a slight grey background, although I would like it transparent for the ease adding sky/background effects in Photoshop.
Any help would be appreciated.

Oops, sorry Joe, that wasn't my intention at all, I wanted to just mark as "solved" :-)

Hi guys
Ok, so as the old saying goes "There is many ways to skin a cat".
I read through the various posts, and achieved the effect I was looking for.
I just created Cube Shape, and applied the "course brick" to the shape and altered angle and shape to suit. Was a little bit fidley, but seemed to work.
Thanks again. See attached.

Thanks guys
I have had a quick look at your posts, and there is surely a solution to my issue in there somewhere
I will thoroughly go them tonight (once I finish work and put the kids to bed) and complete my objective.
Thanks again for your input, much appreciated.
Cheers,
Rod

Hi Eric
Yes, you're right! I've actually just watched a video which confirmed I just need to bring it up, like you mentioned.
