  1. Hi Eric Yes, you're right! I've actually just watched a video which confirmed I just need to bring it up, like you mentioned. Regards, Rod https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/719/one-and-a-half-story-roofs.html?playlist=95
  2. Hi guys Having some with my two storey roof, which is based on a cape cod roof. I have posted pics of the process, the issue I get is the 2nd storey flooring appears through the roof (last pic). I'm scratching my head on this one. Regards, Rod
  3. Hi guys Thank you for all the help! I have filled in the gap by building my foundation as suggested. Regards, Rod
  4. Hi Jon Thanks for the post. I understand the way you've done yours. I guess I will have to fill the gaps like you have done yours. Thanks again, Rod
  5. Hi Michael Thank you for your post. I have set this to 700mm, however is there a way I can display concrete (slab) underneath opposed to it just floating? As I will adjust the terrain slope, and the garage for example wont have a deck around the edge, so I will need to connect that to the ground so it's not in mid air. I appreciate your help. Regards, Rod
  6. Hi guys I'm having some trouble with raising my structure above the terrain, as my house design will be raised up and have a deck around the house. I have attached an example of a house which I will be designing, and need to achieve the effect shown in the image. I have looked on knowledge base and training videos, but I'm not sure of the most efficient way to achieve this? Regards, Rod
  7. Hi guys Again, sorry for the the eternity it's taken for me to get back on here, been very busy. Someone did suggest something about the birdsmouth cut, so I altered this back to 0 when building a new roof of one of my new designs, and it seem to correct the problem I was having :-) Dollhouse view now displays how it use to. Thanks again for all the help. Side note: I have attached some screenshots for reference etc. Regards, Rod
  8. Hi Mark I've had a chance to look into adjusting the cabinet settings. I opened up your plan and repeated settings etc. Thanks a lot, that has given me a much better understanding of how it works. Side note: I have attached a completed render to see the fruits of your labour. Much appreciated. Rod
  9. Hi Mark Thanks for your feedback. Showing my in experience of the program here, but would you have a link/tag to a video that demonstrates this, or knowledge base? Regards, Rod
  10. Hi guys Just wondering if there is an easy way to edit the shape of full height cabinet? I just need to fill in the corner space pictured in screenshot, ideally just selecting points and dragging them where I want manually. Have been looking through knowledge base, but nothing stood out :-/ Appreciate any help I can get. Cheers, Rod
  11. Hi guys Sorry for the lack if response. My client whom I am doing the designs for requested another angle of the Dollhouse view, so purely by fluke I have been able to avoid it for now (and have been avoiding it). I tried a couple things, but will give the roof elevations a go, as it's obviously a roof setting I've messed up in my default settings a while back :-/ Greatly appreciate your feedback, and will present my findings shortly. Regards, Rod
  12. Thanks Guys I checked out the layer displays (if I even have the correct setting etc), and turned it off, but now luck. I have attached the plan if you wanted to take a look? Regards, Rod Plan 2_CAF.plan
  13. Hi guys I've been designing a few houses, with generally the same settings, however when I view this particular one in Doll House view, I noticed the exterior wall is displaying wood at the top of the wall. As you can see the house in the left image, is what I would normally get, however the house on the right is the issue I'm having. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Rod
