Is there any way to force new objects such as a window, wall, or door to snap to the grid? I have my snap grid/snap unit set to 1". I would like for new items to be placed in the plan on a whole inch and not fractions. As it is I can drop in an object and the dimensions to it will be off the grid and not a whole number. I have to manually move the object to get the dimension to a whole number. I have attached an example of my problem. To many unwanted fractions.

Been a Chief user for years. Is there a way to arch a porch header? I have been just using CAD to fake it on the 2D renderings but would like to be able to truly arch the header so it looks right in 3D. Any suggestions?

Auto Exterior Dimensions Overwrite previous auto dim
Chiefusermickey posted a topic in General Q & A
Why is when I use auto exterior dimensions tool it overwrites previous auto exterior dimension instead of updating them or deleting? Some dimensions will have multiple copies of the same dimension line pasted on top of one another. Others will become garbled up and not readable because of old auto dimensions that were not deleted or updated. File attached Willow 1600.plan -
Why does my auto exterior dimension tool write over old auto dimensions instead of erasing them and making room for the new auto dimension. I am not editing the dimensions. I can move a window or wall and when I auto dimension after, it writes over the old values?? I have attached an example. Thanks in advance...

When I try to print I get this error: The printer "HP Designjet 110plus nr" is reporting a DPI of "0". The printer is old but works great with my other programs. I cannot get it to print anything with Chief X8. Any ideas?
