So in your daily work, besides maybe initially setting up your layer sets, do you generally switch between saved plan views instead of directly changing your layer set? I'm used to changing my layer set directly from the drop-down menu. *Edit - I think dshall just answered my question. Thanks!

Just upgraded to x12 and noticed that my active layer set drop down toolbar menu has been replaced with a saved plan view drop down menu. I understand you can add it back in by customizing your toolbar, but based on it's removal I'm assuming most people are working with "saved plan views" instead of switching layer sets. It seems like "saved plan views" are like layer sets 2.0, where the layer set is just one setting that is adjusted by switching to a saved plan view. Is this accurate? And are most of you just switching between saved plan views in your daily work instead of layer sets?

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: •Design Skills •Collaborate with Interior Designers and Sales to develop design concepts for residential homes. •Quickly, efficiently and accurately work in 2D CAD and Chief Architect software to create custom home floor plans and elevation drawings for both client presentations and final construction document sets. •Produce revision drawings. •Conduct quality control check for your projects. •The typical hours of the position are 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Preferred Qualifications: •Associates Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture. •Architectural license is not required. •3-5 years of experience creating architectural or interior design construction documents, and ability to develop custom construction details. •Experience reading and interpreting specification sections. •Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD Architecture. •Proficiency in Chief Architect or similar 3D design software •Demonstrated experience working successfully with cross-functional team members. •Verbal and written communication skills. •Demonstrated understanding and interest in design technology, materials, and processes. •Proficient in office productivity software including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook Contact 616-295-4072 for more information
