Hi Guys so im new to chief architect and im trying to learn the basics! So I figured out MOST of the stuff but cant seem to get my appliances to look like stainless steel for one as you can see in my picture, im using polished or rough aluminum none of these are looking like metal atol and then there is my light any tips and ideas i can try out to make it look realistic with maybe sun coming thru my windows OR the lights to actually look like normal lights? lol thanks everyone!!!

It's mostly about lighting. Essentially Raytrace functions on the same principles that govern photography. How a material appears is determined by the level, direction and colour temp of the light striking it. Here is an example of one run earlier today that contains some stainless steel elements. Still needs some tweaking but more than acceptable as a primarily concept.
