When I open an object (a cabinet face) to change the color texture, Chief immediately starts generating and updating the entire drawing. It takes minutes to complete. Then once the object is open and I click the drop down menu for texture - it again starts generating the entire plan. Then again when I close the object. Sometimes all I have to do is highlight or select an object and Chief starts generating the entire plan again. How can I turn this off and have some control over when the software generates updates??
