Font Issue

I've sent all my default fonts to a certain preference - different than the Chief Blueprint font.  However, when I go to use rich text, the "default" reverts back to Chief Blueprint.  When I use that same dialog box to follow through to see what font should be defaulted, it confirms the font I choose.

 

Is this a bug in X8?....or is there something I am missing?

Although in the past using a uncommon font has caused problems, check that all the text defaults for layer, style, etc are actually set to chosen font.

The layer default is one that usually gets people.

Yeah, i just double checked and it is showing the correct font.  I guess I should report this as a bug?

Have you tried a programme shutdown and restart?

Did you change the Chief Blueprint default font in both the Rich Text defaults and the Text Style defaults?

Nice catch Curt,  that's gotta be it.

 

Johnny,  it looks like what you did is change the font associated with the Text style titled "Default Text Style".  You actually have to assign a text style to your Text Defaults and Rich Text Defaults...

 

OOB, the only text defaults that carry the "Default Text Style"  are the Electrical Text Defaults, Framing Text Defaults, and HVAC Text Defaults.  Rich Text Defaults are all set individually, and the other regular text defaults are either using the 1/8", 1/4", 1/2", or Plot Plan text styles.
