Old Chief 95 Mistakeningly Overwritten

Recommended Posts

Any chance to get an older file back?

A Chief 9.5 plan I was working on, Bowersox.pl1 & .pl2, got overwritten by Chief X6.  Anyway of getting the file back?  I do not see the back up file Bowersox.pbn?

Thanks,

Rick

Yes, open 9.5, and open the file THAT SHOULD BE IN ARCHIVES. And then save that archive gild ax your 9.5 plan.

I never worked with 9.5, but that is a possibility.

If Scott's answer doesn't work (which it should), or if you don't have it backed up anywhere then your sol.

Not sure 9.5 has an "Archives?"  The _________.pbn file does not exist.  Not sure why?  Maybe I'll search *.pbn files...

Oh man!  Scott!

Thanks!  Found it here...

"E:\CAD\ChiefX6\Projects X6\Archives\Bowersox_b8345c7eb57301fbd5e65d93857cbd4428aebba6"

In fact both the old plan files & the backup files were there!  Whew!

Thanks again,

Rick
