Non Perpendicular Staircase

For the sake of easier modeling, in order to avoid violating most stair codes, and to accomplish a more interesting look IMO, I would simply reshape that upper section of floor where the stairs terminate to accommodate the stair angle. It would meet code, would be more functional and would draw deliberate attention to what may otherwise look like a mistake or shawdy design/craftsmanship.

The home is a 6,000 square ft. new design that will be very contempory with a sculptured staircase in metal and glass.  This stair will fit into a full glass atrium and will for just fine with the local codes, no different than a circular staircase with the treads having a center width that would meet code.  I have created a quick visual with my stair problem and didn't post the actual plan.  There will be two runs and I have been asked to create a 3d visual and raytrace this.  I did try the landing, but the rail didn't continue up to the top level. Thanks for your input.
