I have been trying for hours and I just cant figure out this terrain elevation thing. I have watched all kinds of videos but my brain just cant wrap around this.

I seems it should be so simple but every things I try just does not work. If someone could just take a look at my plan and attached pict. and help me get through this.

I would be much appreciated.

I just need the terrain to come up 53" along the sides of the garage and the retaining wall and driveway to cut through to the garage door.

Thanks!

Terrain Basics:

  1. Do not let your elevation data overlap each other. Make sure elevation lines and regions do not cross or intersect themselves or other terrain data (or even too close to each other).
  2. Use elevation lines and regions (not elevation points).
  3. Make elevation lines and elevation regions extend to outside of the terrain perimeter.
  4. Make elevation lines continuous without breaks.
  5. Keep elevation data (elevation lines, splines, regions, etc.) simple, without sudden bends.

any idea on how to get rid of the squigglies and have the terrain countour a straight line? I'm working on a plan now and keep adding more elevation lines in an attempt  to get rid of them
