How Do I Design A Concreted Covered Porch With 4"x4" Columns. Have Not Found It In Videos.

All I like in finishing up prelim. design of a small cottage is concrete covered porch with wood columns so I can design roof.

There are multiple methods to create what you've described, but it would waste our time, and yours, to explain them all. It would help us if you would be more specific: upload a sketch or the plan file.

You can name the room "PORCH" and specify a 4" concrete floor....but as Rob stated, post the plan and the help gets far better.

Draw invisible walls (room divider walls) and then build your roof on top of that. For that matter, build real walls and delete them after you build the roof and place some poly solids for posts where you want them. Or...

Or use railing walls and select the option for POST TO CEILING or POST TO BEAM...boom done in 2 seconds.
