Using X13 on Macbook Pro wanting a better/faster experience

Hello, I am overwhelmed with computer specifications. I run x13 on my laptop. I am willing to get another computer with appropriate video/graphics cards but with the unlimited amount of options and customizations on the market I am stuck in analysis paralysis. I'd like to stick with Apple. If that's not the best choice then will chief architect work with me to have a shared license for a windows OS? Where do I begin?

No need to worry there you can download the Mac or Windows version right in your digital locker, the software is OS agnostic and almost identical in use.

This was posted Thurs. about the Macs....

Like Mick said, you can use Chief on either a mac or pc or both (just not at the same time).

Make sure whatever computer you buy will meet the system requirements:

Chief also has a blog article with some tips for buying a new computer:

I was a loyal Mac user since 2004. I alway owned Mac Pro towers snd the recent trash can.

I have a new MacBook Pro.

Last year I bought a PC Desktop for X14 and QuickBooks.  The reason was, Physically Based Rendering (PBR).

I have X14 on both the PC and Mac.  I sign out and switch when I want to, but mostly use the PC.

The PC is MSI Aegis RS with NVIDIA 3080Ti video card and 32GB RAM, Two 2TB NVMe SSD"s

It's very fast for PBR.
