Change house elevation by 12"

Current project has a detached garage and a sloped site.

The owner wants to raise the main house by 12".

Currently the main house first floor is at zero.

Should I lower the site & garage by 1 foot?

I have had trouble moving the house vertically in the past as some objects are tied to absolute elevation.

Are there any tricks to change all the site & elevation lines down one foot?

Never move the main building, move the terrain. With terrain, up is down and down is up (just like using a builder's level on site). Open the terrain perimeter and add 12" to its elevation.

Then move the garage down 12".

Would of been my suggestion as well , things can get hard/crazy to work with when the Main Floor is not at 0"

I concur with the others.  however had to ask where is this house located?  That drop is crazy.. I cant imagine anywhere here in FLO.
