ADallas Posted April 23, 2022 Share Posted April 23, 2022 This seems pretty basic, so I apologize in advance if there's an obvious answer, but I did search here for something relevant. I looked at dialogs for roof plane, wall, room. I want blocking between the rafters and I want my wall sheathing and my siding to extend to the underside of the roof sheathing. Otherwise you can get vertical blocking by using a rafter and drag your exterior wall up to the sheathing or with a bit of futzing about you can get an attic wall to fill that space and keep your proper top plate height.
