ACADuser Posted September 24, 2021 Share Posted September 24, 2021 Trying to edit a CAD block for a shower faucet. Wanting to reduce the line weights in the 2D view. You can select the faucet & use the "Edit CAD Block" tool. But the block is not updated. You can insert a CAD block & edit it but the original fixture is not updated. ACADuser Posted September 24, 2021 Author Share Posted September 24, 2021 Thanks Joe. So the Fixture layer controls the 2D block line weight, ignoring the block object line weights.. While the same 2D block not associated with a symbol has its line weight controlled by the block objects line weight. That means you can not have different line weights within a "Fixture" 2d block associated with a symbol. I wonder why this limitation. This makes all fixtures the same unless you create extra layers.
