Project Browser Page preview?

When I rearrange sheets in the layout set, dragging the sheets in the browser, the previews remain unchanged.

This problem is resolved by closing the Layout file & reopening it.

 

Is that normal behavior?

Where are you dragging the sheets? In the print layout screen?

Try the "update all views" button.

Yes I was dragging the sheets in the Project Browser.

The "Update All Views" did not restore the previews in the Project Browser..

The program tries not to update the preview too often because this can cause performance issues.  If this is something that you think is wrong, or don't like, then you should report this to tech support.

 

For now, you can always manually update project browser previews anytime you want by using the update button at the bottom of the browser.

I agree.  Seems like a bug in this regard.

I forgot about the browser update button.

But as Eric said it should be a pointer that gets updated not a complete refresh of the preview image.

Nothing in the Image changes just the pointer.
