Pocket Door in Furred Wall

I'm trying to place a 2X4 pocket door in a 2X6 wall so there can be and outlet place in the "pocket area" of the door. The way I'm trying is to start with a 2X6 wall, remove an area where the pocket door framing is to be and replace it with a 2X4 wall and a 2X2"net wall furred along side it. I then place the pocket door in the 2X4 wall. My problem is the door doesn't show coming through the 2X2 wall. I have it marked as a furred wall. I have also changed it to split framing and nothing changed. Am I trying to accomplish something CA doesn't "allow" or am I missing something.1638528993_pocketdoor.thumb.jpg.556815b6518942361142ab0084a77d10.jpg

I finally got my idea to work by adding an 1 1/2" to each end of the two types of wall. This accomplishes my main objective, but as you can see in the attachment there still shows a minor detail that is no "biggie", but I'm wondering why they are there and if I can get rid of them.
