Importing X6 File Into Another X6 File & Referencing

I have two separate house designs which I want to transfer onto a terrain plan.  How can I do this without the houses falling to pieces along the way?  The houses each have foundations and two floor levels. Can I reference across to terrain model while working on the two original buildings? Thanks in advance.

make each house a symbol

 

then place those symbols in the "master" terrain plan

 

take a 3D camera view

 

then use MENU - TOOLS - SYMBOL

 

then place the symbol in the library for plcaement in the Master

If you want static models you can't change use symbols. If you want editable floor plans use the Edit Area tool and copy/paste into the terrain.
