John_Charles 0 Posted November 17, 2020 Hello all I'm a longtime tinkerer since X1 and am now on X12. I'm seeking a way to create a movable (rotating) louvre curtain wall / screen / dividing wall between two rooms that consists of a rotating set of vertical timber slats (eg like vertical louvres/jalousie?) as shown in the attached image. The slats are shaped in a shallow oval (wing shape) on a central vertical pivot on which they rotate with a rail to move them all. I'm looking to show them on the floor plan and (later) in elevations. I understand I could make a whole series of CAD shapes but would be very grateful for other methods that allow them to be used as a wall. Thank you

John_Charles 0 Posted November 25, 2020 Wow! Thank you for that Robert! When you say create your own millwork symbol, do you mean a polyline solid? Thanks!

I believe he does ...as the 1st step ...then you save the PS as a Millwork symbol depend on your needs you may need 3 ...100% open, 100% closed and perhaps 50% Open for different Views. M. As Kbird1 confirmed, yes, you can use a polyline solid, or import the geometry, but it must be saved as a millwork symbol - then it will be available to be used as a newel/baluster.
