why not the schedules ?

Sorry if I didn't understand what you meant...you may be aware that a schedule can be copied directly to a spreadsheet. Single click the schedule, ctrl-c, open a blank spreadsheet, ctrl-v in the first cell. That's it.

They ARE the same.

Michael:

no, they are not the same

Material list has a tool to export to Excel

Schedules do not

copy-paste may work but its not the same as having a dedicated tool

why the inconsistency ?

why not have an export tool for schedules ?

You’re moving the goalpost here.  Your question was this....

why does the Material List need to be exported ?

seems like they should act the same ?

It was specifically in reference to the ability to copy and paste which is all I was talking about.  The materials list does not need to be exported.

And by the way, I don’t see why anybody would want to export something that could simply be copied and pasted.
