Is there an automatic way to make a floor truss like a gable end truss?

The floor truss sits on the wall and is built with vertical web members similar to a gable end truss.

just a guess if you make the top and bottom chord lenghts 16 inches or whatever .

Unfortunately no. You can adjust a normal truss and make it a symbol I believe and add it to your library for later use.

You can use a roof truss, just adjust its settings and polyline in a section view.

Interestingly enough, in my region, no builder would pay for those. Around here, the framers build parallel pony walls for all floor joist types. Its one of the simplest ways to ensure all studs are aligned, all point loads from window headers, beams and girders are transferred to the fdn, and the insulation values remain the same as all other exterior walls. Also, the small studs are a great way to use up crooked lumber. And it gives the framer's laborers a simple task to do while the lead concentrates on layout.
