Designer100 Posted September 5, 2020 Share Posted September 5, 2020 Hey, Was wondering if anyone new how to have these 2 ramps to start at grade and go to top of landings. Front one is for ada ranp is 72 in long for each 6 in rise. The 2nd ramp behind it is service entrance and can have a sharper rise for pushing cart up. I cannot seem to get it working out. Figure out what your absolute heights are for grade and for your top landing open the ramp and set it to those heights. ADA in Texas is serious as any commercial job requires an ADA certified independent inspector to inspect and certify for occupancy. You can take a look to see what I changed, and the simplest way to get those changes into your plan would be to delete the 2 ramps, landing and slab, then copy the same items from this plan and ctrl-alt-v in your plan. Dermot Posted October 5, 2020 Share Posted October 5, 2020 By default, ramps in Chief are set to 1:12. If you want a different slope, either steeper or less steep, turn off automatic heights.
