Please note that although the default toolbars may have changed, the majority of the features from X10 are still in X12.  You should probably review the What's new in X12 video as a starting point:

How do I look at the layers set in x12 in a plan that was pre existing in 10 ?

 

If you didn't migrate your Toolbars , you may need to add the Layerset Dropdown Toolbar back to the Toolbars at the top of the screen if you only see the Saved Plan Views Dropdown now? ( it may say Working Plan View by default)
