Page Numbering w/ Leading Zeros

I am setting up a custom layout for one of our suppliers.  They require that all single digit pages be numbered with a leading zero (01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09.....10).  I can type the zero in before the page numbering macro and all is fine until I reach page 10 and I get 010 which breaks the format.  Is there a way to do this?  Thanks, Kevin

Hi Kevin,

You must have your label macro on your page template. If you use the edit page information (I right click in the project browser) instead you can select a new range for the # wild card to be used. So page 10 will be entered as 10 and then 11 is 1#

Then you can change it again if you get to a new range. The only drawback is this is done manually on each page, but if you do it once it's good for the future! :)

Also you could make a different page template to get it done. :)

Another thing you can consider and what a lot of us do is skipping double and single digit numbering altogether.  My first page in every sequence is 101 (A-101, S-101, E-101, etc.)

Great suggestion. Thanks.
