Editing Line Styles

Another question re line styles which include text with the line

It seems that the standard OOB font/text size for all is set to 1.0mm (in my case metric)

How do you determine the font/text size to suit the different printed scales

If you adjust the text size from 1.0mm to 2.0mm the text in most cases is too large

Try setting your "number style" to decimal mm and then you can set the height to 1.5.

Thanks DBC, I have experimented with the height in decimal mm, that alters the text height as required.

But how do you relate the "line style text height" to the desired text height for different required scaled plans.

I believe the line style sizes are always specified in actual print sizes.  If you are going to be printing at different scales and want different text sizes, you will probably have to create different line styles.  You might want to setup different line styles for the various scales you are using and then change them using your layers.
