Can real RAY TRACE be added to HomeDesignerPro?

sorry, HD PRO doesn't and can't do raytracing

there may be a way to create an export file to send to a raytracing program

but I doubt it

you could post in the "seeking services" section

and someone who has Chief Premier could do them for you - for a fee

be sure to state which version of HD PRO you have

you may also want to post on the Hometalk forum as they can better advise

on the HD products

while HD PRO users can benefit from following ChiefTalk

most Chief Premier users are not familiar with the HD products and their limitations

Actually, if you have the latest version of Home Designer Pro you can export your model as a "Collada" or ".dae" file which can then be imported into various rendering software packages (Lumion, VRay, and others), then dress up your materials and other objects to eventually obtain a more photorealistic product. The "Trick" is learning the process and the other software package.

As a 25 year CA architect user, I travel with a small HomeDesigner laptop. Would like to somehow attach RAY TRACE to create within HD Pro. Any way to accomplish?

I believe HD Pro 2020 has PBR View (Physically based Rendering)  which is what most people use now even in CA Premier , have a look on the Forum here for a Thread called "Lets PBR" which has lots of info and initial settings to put into your defaults etc.

( not sure of HD Pro 2019 has PBR ?)
