EconBlueprints Posted June 6, 2019 Share Posted June 6, 2019 Why do the layout box borders exceed the size of the item when sent to the layout? All of the building code notes I make are inserted in a rectangular polyline, which is 22' Wide x whatever height is needed to contain the contents. After the text is inserted into the polyline, the entire thing is made into a block and saved as a cad block in the drawing. I open the Cad block (not explode but open the block) so it can be sent to the layout. When they get there, some of the layout borders for the individual blocks extends beyond the block itself. This means an extra step in aligning everything, since alignment is apparently based on the layout border, and not the contents withing the layout border. Is there a way to ensure that the blocks and the layout border are the same size? Thanks, Lane Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
