What would be the best and easiest way to go about building a retaining wall for the pictured area.

I have tried both"retaining walls and terrain walls" but get unwanted results.

Plan is loaded up above in the topic stream.

Too easy - here's a hint attached.

What tool are you using to make the curved region?

I cant seem to locate.

Also do you now the difference between porchs and patios in CA.

And why they act different?

The 3 key will create a break in any line or p-solid like a region. Press the 3 key, click the break point where you want it. Now right click the new line segment and change to curve. VERY basic stuff.

...and yes there's a difference but I honestly don't know. Try googling for the answer?

Here's a vid.

Thanks Im getting close, I did watch a video and figured out the curved terrain.

Thanks for all your help.

No info on the patio and porch, I did google.

Anyway that is what was screwing with the wall earlier (disappearing)

Once I changed it from patio to porch the wall would not disappear

thanks again.

Also I think the etched line on the Retaing wall is the footer of the wall.

I don't think Chief has a default Patio room type.

There is a "Patio" Room type in CA but I cant find any info on it.

In reality the area I'm working on would actually define as a "patio"

but need to change it to porch to get it to work properly.

Not sure why.

I will continue my search on more info about this.

Thanks

"Patio" it is a custom room type that someone has created.

It's function has been defined as a "Slab" room.

Maybe that is why you can't find any information on that room type?

These are the OOB room types.

Thanks for the help.

It was truly a pain but I think I have it worked out.

Although not as perfect as I would like.

I would think there would be an easier way to control those cured retain walls.
