HHbuilders Posted April 30, 2019 Share Posted April 30, 2019 I'm struggling to understand how to create a bonus room over a garage attached to a two story home. I read the chief article on bonus room trusses, but If I check the ignore top (2nd) floor, it obviously ignores the entire upstairs. Do I need to do the ignore 2nd floor and then manually adjust the rest of the house? Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated! If the roof is OK, turn off auto rebuild and raise the bonus room ceiling. Ceiling height tells the program where to build a roof with auto roofs. That did the trick. Thanks a lot Solver!
