I’m experiencing significant issues with my current laptop running Design Suite software. Looking to purchase MacBook Pro. Can anyone tell me the ideal load I should pursue in a MacBook so I can make this purchase payoff for years to come.? Thanks in advance.

You say, your current laptop is running Designer Suite Software". I assume by that you meant the Home Designer Software not Chief Architect.  There is another forum for those questions. https://hometalk.chiefarchitect.com/

If you check the hardware requirements on the Home Designer web site, it will provide the minimum requirements for running the software version you have. Most times if you bump it up a bit, in the laptop or desktop you are looking at it should be plenty to handle HDS. When you say significant issues, depending on how old your machine is, you may need to look at the Video Card it is using, and also be sure all your drivers (especially if it is 3D or other camera view issues) are updated to the latest driver.

      I was wondering if anyone in the forum can recommend what upgrades I can use to allow me to have Chief Architect run smoother. I am an interior design student and my PC does an 6/10 job when it comes to viewing spaces in 3D, especially when the space starts to become around 2,000 square feet. 
       
      I currently am using an HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-r114 PC. It has an Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-8400T CPU @ 1.70GHz - Installed RAM 12GB. Graphics Card Integrated Intel UHD Graphics & 2TB storage (around 1.7TB storage still available)
       
      I am no tech-geek and have not upgraded anything on this pc. I really do not understand what RAM is or even the graphics card. Instead of purchasing a gaming-type PC to assist with the rendering, I am wondering what alternatives I have that may allow my all-in-one PC to run much smoother with large scale renderings. Thank you!

      Why Am I Having Trouble With 3D Rendering?

      When I did an elevation or perspective, nothing would show up, just a white blank page.  I followed some instructions on the Chief Architect Support page and changed some of my rendering preferences and now I can see the elevations and perspectives but it still doesn't look quite right as lines are missing etc. I've gone to HP.com to update my driver but it says there are no available updates. Not really sure where to go from here..? Do I not have the right requirements? Do I need a new laptop or is it a simple fix?
       
       
      Laptop I'm using- HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC, Windows 7, 64-bit, 8GB
       
      Microprocessor- Intel® Core i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz
       
      Graphics Device 1- Radeon HD 6770M
