Scedule editing

I cannot select a single line in a window schedule to edit its contents.  I can select the entire schedule but not a single line.  Any suggestions as to what is wrong?

Click on the row of the item you'd like to open and then click this button in your toolbar;

The button is named "openschedulerow"

"click on" is very specific, it will not select, per se, in that it wont give you a strong visual indicator that you have clicked on a row, but it will bring up that icon in your toolbar if you click on a row...assuming you are on a certain version of the Chief Architect software as solver just indicated

also if you edit your default colors for selection line it will be more apparent to you that a row has been selected. This can be found under edit/preferences/appearance/colors/selection line

I believe I have located the problem concerning not being able to edit a single row in a schedule.  I am using Chief X9 and according to what I see in the new features of X10, X9 does not have that same capability. The online help videos are up to date on the current edition of Chief (X10) so items that were standard before are not recognized.  I am simply trying to do something that is not possible in my current version.
