Hi There!

We recently purchased a second license, and we are getting the second station set up, is there a simple way to copy the default settings from the current machine, and copy it over. We have the two stations running now, but we want to copy over things like the default text, doors and window etc..

Thanks,

Greg

File, import defaults, navigate to a plan file that has the defaults you want.

Hotkey, annotation sets, layer sets are all export from one then import to another.

All listed in help and reference manual BTW.

Preferences I don't know other than redoing but may be a way. Toolbars are a matter of copying files AFAIK-check KB articles.

Copying the two CA .ini files from one Computer to the Other may do it...no guarantees.... you may end up with some dead links in the recent list etc though.

C:\Users\ YOUR USERNAME \AppData\Roaming\Chief Architect Inc

you can also copy the CA Data Folder to the new Computer too.....
