ChiefuserMathews Posted December 19, 2018 Share Posted December 19, 2018 Hello, I am trying to add a stair to the basement, opening a floor for the stair to pass thru. When I use the auto stairwell option it does not open the adjacent floor, it partially open floor on one side of the wall. I had to add a rails on the upper floor to open the floor for the stair well. Plan attached for reference. Now how do I cut the joist to make room for the stair to pass thru, which shows in my 3D view? how do i achieve that? 218011.plan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
