Easiest way to build a custom trellis?

I have a few ideas, but I'm pretty sure there has to be an easier way than how I'm trying it. How would you all go about scratch building an outdoor trellis?

I'm going from a hand drawing, so it's not too pretty, but here it is.

I go to the 2nd floor and create a deck, after setup it's very fast, creates 2x? on top ( really decking) works really nice.

I am not so sure that I would be building brick piers on a timber deck!

I've done it with a roof plane, and removing all non essentail layers, fascia, soffit, gutters, etc.  This way you can add a slight pitch as well.

I build all my trellis's manually. This way I have total control and makes it easier for construction drawings. Once you've done it several times, it gets quicker to do. I also put the different members on separate layers so it makes it easier to edit if needed.

of course if it's custom, it must be done manually, I seem to run into simple ones.
