JerryGordon Posted June 11, 2018 Author Share Posted June 11, 2018 I have used Chief since the beginning but just updated to 10. Have been at 6 for years with the economy stuck. Anyway, I create a foundation from a first floor and it puts my dimensions over my brick not frame. I give the foundation print to my post tension engineer and it confuses him so have to give him first floor plan instead. It should be a footing, a monolithic slab sitting in the middle of the footing with frame on edge of monolithic slab and brick to footing. Other things may overide or confuse the Issue too eg is the dimension default set to Surface or Wall Dimension Layer ? Best to post the actual plan if possible so someone can advise you....
