I beg of you please, a drawer base!

Recommended Posts

I do a lot of kitchen and bath layouts and spend a ton of time either explaining how what someone is seeing is not what it will be. I have to either write lengthy notes labeling cabinets and then explaining those will be drawers not doors. Or I spend a bunch of time blanking out the fronts of cabinets and making pseudo drawer pulls hoping it will make sense. I have even gone so far as manipulating a dresser to make it look like cabinets. (The vase of flowers on top does add some confusion, however :D)

Anyway, I would respectfully beg for just one drawer base at least.

In lieu of that, is there another way others have discovered to easily represent drawer base cabinets?

Love the product, regardless and have recommended it to many!

Thanks,

Annette

Hi Annette, going off topic but you seem to know what you are doing, how on earth do you change the floor colour from that horrid brown colour?

Dannyv, hey there, sorry just saw this.

When you choose a floor it shows up on the left as your choice. There is an option to edit it from there. Depending on the original color you can adjust the tone or darkness to lightness.  I'll do another post with some pics if you'd like.

Ok I'm going to try to explain with some pics. Hope it works and makes sense.

First go to 3D view and choose the paint can, the choose the wood section.

when you choose your wood you get this,

Pic 1. Click the edit button shown circled in pink.

From that you get a color graphic.

Pic 2. Change the color by rolling the circle (circled in pink) around the chart. Change the brightness by sliding the bar shown in blue.
