dshall Posted March 24, 2018 Share Posted March 24, 2018 Slope Deck Railing vid, not a bad vid. what was not clear in the vid was the reason for separating the terrain symbol from the rail symbol..... the reason is so you can lower the railing 12" with respect to the deck symbol so the rail posts hung below top of deck. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Right now I have to use cad details and notes to get the point across and the 3d is not correct--just flat. Sure wish Chief would give us sloping decks that actually frame correctly.
