Looking for Chief Designer - Immediate work available

We are a Design Build Residential firm based out of Northvale NJ.

We have an in-house design team with an architect.

 

We are looking for someone to take designs from approved models, and create the construction plans.

This can be a remote setup, or you can work out of our offices if you are local.

We would be expecting you to meet weekly deadlines for drawings,

ie, Smith drawings are due next Wednesday.

 

Our designers work with our architect creating the models, including floor plans, cabinet layouts, etc.

 

We need someone to take the models, and create the working construction plans.

Tasks will include:

Adding notes

creating cross sections

Completing dimensions

Adding CAD details

 

We are running chief architect 9, and will be upgrading to x soon.

 

You will need at a minimum:

Full working knowledge of Chief Architect

Thorough understanding of  the IRC code

Experience creating construction plans

A team mentality
