Ray Trace Size/DPI for Photo Quality 8 x 10 Prints?

Tomorrow I need to print some "photo quality" ray trace images of a model we are working on, on 8 x 10 paper. The printer will be a Canon Pixma 100, which is advertised as having 4800 x 2400 resolution. (I haven't used this printer yet).

My question is: for an 8 x 10 print, what settings should I use for the ray trace, for image size and resolution (dpi), in order to ensure maximum possible quality and resolution in the 8 x 10 print?

I don't want to unnecessarily waste ray trace time, as we have a lot of images to generate, but I also don't want to give up some of the resolution the printer would be otherwise be capable of.
