Psolid for glass and solids for the frame or a molding polyline would do it all in one shot. On second thought it might not be any advantage to make a window symbol as it will create issues with the wall opening. I just made an architectural block that you can have and edit or check out to see how to make your own. I would try making the wall opening with two wall material regions or Joe's Hole in the wall tool and then just turn the framing off or custom frame.
