I have searched here and also google... I am wanting a solution to make a wall follow the riser up the stairs. In other words I want from the bottom of the riser to the ceiling of bottom floor enclosed. See the picture attached, I hope you can understand it from there.
The stairs go up to a landing then turn. From the landing up to second floor will be visible in the garage. So I want to create a wall that follows the riser to enclose the stairs.
A search should find more info. I know I've responded on this same question.
There is likely a better/easier way too.
Draw a normal wall. In elevation, drag it up and shape to conform to the stairs.
You will see the framing visible on the bottom of the wall.
Shape a solid, sloped soffit or ceiling plane as I have to cover.
I changed the wall to a single drywall layer which may be good enough. (needed to use a ceiling plane)
