Finding Members and Websites

Unfortunately, many people seem to want to hide behind a cloak of anonymity on this forum. (Yourself included, I see.) So, unless folks start coming out from the shadows, you are probably going to have to look at people's signature for a website, which will be a very limited number; there's not much more you can do.

I don't know if this is what the OP was talking about but

there were a whole set of features that apparently haven't

been brought forward to this version of the forum.

There was a list of all the active users ranking them from

the highest total of posts on down to people with just 1 post.

There was a list of the highest rated content (based on

reputation points) given to a post.

You used to be able to see who else was viewing the

thread you were viewing.

I'm sure there are some more I'm not thinking of at the

moment. While they certainly aren't game changers, I

found them all useful on occasion. Maybe some of these

features are still lurking here somewhere and I just haven't

found them yet.

You can run but you  cannot hide. I am an open book and it's a boring one.

Hey David, the text in your avatar is an interesting

spin on a quote by the most decorated Marine of

all time.

He said: "Pain is weakness leaving the body!"

Rich I am sure you are aware that Dan is still monitoring his thread on the New Forum and some of what you have mentioned would sure be nice to get back if possible.  Why not post a refined copy over there:  https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/topic/11785-chieftalk-migration/?page=7    with a link back to here as this is definitely a valid problem.  It's hard to chase down a thread that is more than a couple of weeks old unless you participated.  It seems to be even more evident with the recent surge in repeat questions and the advanced search not working.
