Drawing Stairs...starting direction

hi,

 

when drawing the stairs, is there a way to start the "starting point" and draw downward?

 

current when i drag and draw the stairs, it's alway stairs is going up.

 

when i start at the Landing and drag to get the number of steps i need, it's drawn upward, then i have to manually rotate the stairs 180 deg.

 

up until now, i just been drawing stairs using this method and then figuring out manually my Riser height to get it to match. 

 

there's gotta be another AND correct method at doing this?

use the cntrl key as you drag down

or just use the "Click stairs" tool
