  1. I tried a clean install and it's still not finding the files.  Interesting that it's not finding Chiefs own "CoreCatalogsFiles.zip" and the location is in the default setting.

I'll check with tech support as soon as I get a chance.

    Thanks for the help!

  2. Hi Perry

The funny thing is, everything was installed in the default locations and was fine prior to some kind of "clean up" (I think) happened.  I'm only missing the new stuff from X10.  The old textures as well as bonus stuff is all there.

  3. I get the same result.  I was mostly concerned with the missing wall framing on the right.

If you have the section view and the floor plan windows tiled on your screen (so you can see both views at the same time), the framing disappears as soon as you break the section line, you don't even have to drag it.

    Happy Friday.

  4. I was really excited to discover that I could break a section camera to create a jogged section cut.

HOWEVER, as soon as I put a line break in the section line, the wall framing (most of it) disappears.

Tried it on a clean floor plan just to be sure it wasn't plan specific.

When I move the break back to the original location, voila! the framing is back.

I know X10 will be out soon, but anyone else have this issue in X9?

    Thanks

  5. EEK!  I'm have this problem on my laptop also.  I updated all my drivers, mouse, Nvidia etc. but still not working.  I get the disappearing cursor in 3d as others described, and the other thing that's not working is cabinets.  In the dbx, it won't let me select "fill" or "linestyle".  All else is fine as far as I know.  My desktop is fine.

    Any other suggestions?

ps.  I wasn't able to roll back my video driver to the May release because they didn't offer that option.  Earliest I could get was July.

  6. I deal with energy heels on a regular basis here, sometimes with a 2x10 top chord.  It's frustrating to have the truss not build the engery heel correctly.

" Not sure Why CA insists on building that small wall between E.H. Trusses either... (Blue)   2x10 vertically Blocking perhaps ...or are some areas actually made to do this? "

I do what Jared said.  Use a wall type that has no material for the framing.
